Flowers II

The seasons have changed and for the last few weeks, I’ve been enjoying new flowers in Brussels.

Row 1 Nodding onion, Hollyhock (been seeing this in so many colours), Viper’s bugloss, St. John’s wort, Ragged robin, Lacecap hydrangea, Musk mallow

Row 2 White campion, Oregano, Bigleaf hydrangea, Privet, Mock orange, Zonal geranium, Kousa dogwood “Samaratin”

Row 3 Bigroot cranesbill, Kousa dogwood “Satomi”, Rhododendron ponticum, Common knapweed, Honeysuckle, Chilean potato vine, Oxford geranium

And there are the roses — so many roses. It is not a flower that usually appeals to me, but I’ve been reconsidering. Instead of the manicured rose bushes and flowerbeds I am used to in India, here these flowers seem to be running wild. I love that.
