Week 42/2026

Well, I’ve been sick. Last week I felt that my throat was hurting a little a couple of times, but I didn’t make much of it. By Sunday evening, it was clear that I was coming down with the flu and on Monday, my fever touched 101°F. I’m desperately, constantly craving carbs as I recover. Most of the week was spent in bed recuperating. A bit of work here and there. Some internet scavenging and reading about cemeteries (Aadarsh found me a bunch of stuff!) and monumental stonemasons who worked in 19th century British India. TypeTogether published Futura®100 Indics. St. Bride Foundation featured India Street Lettering as their book of the week. I had a super fun video chat with my parents and Prateek, a proper balm for the soul. My favourite home-cooked meal was ditalini with peas and salami. I sent gifts for a handful of friends, and Amber and I capped off the week meeting Linda and Filip, who’re visiting Brussels.
