Prateek and Rhea are here, and we’ve already spent lovely evening at home and a day in the city, including a trip to the Comics Art Museum, visits to Parc Tenbosch and Parc de Bruxelles, and ice cream at Batch Glacier. When the end of the week is so great, it is hard to remember what happened before it, but I must try.
Amber and I spent a bunch of time getting the house ship-shape, and planning menus and buying groceries. Armed with our newly-acquired Cineville pass, we went to watch Sunny Dancer on Monday night. Work was a mixed bag: a demoralising setback here, a new project coming through there, and relentless chipping away elsewhere. Everything has felt easier because the temperature finally dipped down to around 20°C. In fact, yesterday when we were out and about, it was absolutely perfect weather.
