Breakfast

I was never breakfast person, until my chronic migraine troubles forced me to add two extra small meals to my day. I still dislike spending even the smallest part of my morning in the kitchen, but you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.

On my first grocery shopping trip in Brussels, I saw crisp breads that immediately took me back to my year in Reading. I picked them up for nostalgia’s sake, but they’ve become breakfast staples in the last month and a half. I’ve been having a lot of fun mixing and matching toppings — a bit of play that is making my morning moments in the kitchen more bearable.
